Growing up I was a pretty outgoing child. I was the one to play with anyone in the neighborhood, always up for a bike ride, even with the boys. Or should I say especially the boys - they were more adventurous.

Over time, a series of random events shall we say occurred, making me more self-conscious and feeling less safe, especially at school. By the time I was in high school, bullying took on a new level and I began to withdraw more from my peers and life. On the surface, I looked ok. I had activities. I hung out with a group of girls. But inside, I was a mountain of insecurities and fears, feeling out of place, wondering if I would ever fit in, if I would ever feel safe and a sense of belonging. Not so unusual for teenagers of course, but this was more than just usual teenage angst. This was life angst.

Raising Funds For My Daughter

I have had fake MAGA types tell me the following:

"Stop coming here asking for financial help"
(for the work I do - there IS a difference - I do not go online and expect a handout - just an EXCHANGE for the works I do)

"We are here for the normies. Stop whining."
(have any of them ONCE helped me or my daughter - even when I've asked? NOPE)

Fake people in this movement.
I know what a real human is.
Feeeeeeeeels like.
Words and actions speak and can create something supportive or something destructive.

I do not step foot inside of churches.
Nor do I read that compromised book called the Bible.

But I KNOW what LOVE is.
And I KNOW what Jesus would do.
And at this point he'd be pointing out these fake people.
He would be changing this reality instead of allowing all of this ongoing suffering.
He would be HELPING people.
He would be talking words of UNITY.
And he would also be pointing out the hypocrisy I see even with the Trumps who are making MILLIONS off of
