A PROPHECY FULFILLED

The prophecy of Isaiah brought to the Hebrews in exile was fulfilled 700 years later through Jesus, as we read in Luke.

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

A PRAYER TO REFLECT GOD

God, I want my life to testify to Your goodness and grace. Refocus my heart on You. Help me pursue You first, above all else. Nothing in life matters more than bringing glory to You. Show me who I need to share You with and give me boldness. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

GOD GIVES ME VICTORY

God, today, help me to remember that I can live from a place of victory because You have given me victory over all things--through Jesus. You have given me victory over my past mistakes and current difficulties. You fight for me, and with me. So when I come up against trouble of any kind, help me to remember that You are enough for me--I can trust in You! In Jesus' Name, Amen.

GOD'S WILL

God, I am in awe of Your power. Through the life of Jesus, You have shown me that You have overcome the world! I know it's Your will for me to find peace in You during times of trouble--help me to trust You in every circumstance I face. And then, help me to show others through my faith that they can trust You too. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
