Was at deli counter today… helper asked how u doin today? I didn’t say anything & she said oh I can tell by that look. I replied I was just blessed to live where we live & not in NYC. She replied “don’t let it infiltrate you”

She was so right.

After helping me, she asked if there was anything else she help me with. I replied, maybe you can manifest world peace. She pointed to a pin she was wearing on her shirt that said “PEACE “ & smiled 🙏🏻🥰😁

This journey has its ups & downs. It's hard & not for the weak. It's ok to fall down. Allow yourself to feel it, but try not to stay there too long.

Get out of your head and just breathe. Your thoughts aren't facts....don't let the 'unknowns' cycle through your brain and get the best of you!

You KNOW why you are here, that you're meant to be here.. You KNOW we win even though sometimes the questions & skepticism can sink in.

Do something to feel better & begin again tomorrow (or the next day if u need it). Even if it's small...try 10 different things if nothing is working - listen to music, text someone you haven't spoken to in a long time, organize your pantry, watch a funny youtube video, look at old photos, cross something off of your to-do list, make a list of things you're grateful for in your life, hug your kids, lean on someone here, go for a walk...whatever it is, just breathe & try to enjoy it.

Husband & I went to Lowe's the other day to purchase a specific item. This happened to us as we went to check out. NO cashiers, only self checkouts. I was not happy about this. Husband was having a bit of trouble with the scanning part & a dude worker walks by. Asked if he could help "No, I don't work this area" I let him know what I thought of Lowe's self check outs. Of course it's not his fault I know that, but he heard it. We did not get stopped to check our receipts though, just left & won't be going back there.
