Mother Michèle and her Dog

The Story takes place in a small french town. People line up at the only tobacco that's open on this Sunday afternoon.

Mother Michèle is asking for some change. She's a young girl, with uncombed hair and some marks on her arms. I'm telling myself she's probably a junkie. And, when she asks me, I just answer "No, sorry". Then, a tall guy answers her with so much contempt that she promptly leaves. She's now out of sight. All of sudden, a Dog's crossing the road just before a car that only slows down a bit. Extending my left arm, I say "The Dog!" in a breath. He's out of sight too, safe.

I'm looking up. The Lady is before me, just a few meters away, with her Dog. I'm walking next to her and asking "Do you swear, before God, it's for eating?" while pointing my finger toward the Sky. She takes a brief look to the Sky and says "Yes". I give her my last 5 euros.

This Song is Dedicated To my Friend, Daniel, 75yo.

He miracously healed from ARTHROSIS that deprived him of his Passion, cycling (traveling all around France, even Tourmalet...), for the last 6 years.

And all of a sudden, as he explained to me, arthrosis was gone! Feeling like a 20yo again! Was able to take his bicycle again! I had to tell him to restart gradually 😂

And it all happened after he Prayed, all in Tears, seeking for God's Help. Not an off-handedly prayer adressed to God, drawned in the Mass, as he told me.

This Song was written after he gave a few Letters of his own to the Mother of the Woman he felt in love with and who he regrets he never met, Marie Laforêt.

Karen was a slender owner of an unusual Animal, called Joe. Joe was a Python or a Boa? I'm not a biologist. Joe was a big, healthy Snake.

Each night, Joe and Karen were sleeping together. I know, but who are we to judge them? All that matters is they were happy.

But, after a few months of an utter happiness, Joe felt sick. He was refusing to eat. Joe wouldn't even take a look at the wiggling mices and lizards, his favorite appetizers. So, Karen took Joe to the Veterinarian.

After a thorough examination, the Doctor gave his diagnostic to a trembling Karen. She breathed a sigh of relief when she heard that Joe wasn't sick. He was just going on a diet. A big smile lighting her face, she was hanging on the Good Doctor's every word: «Joe is making some room, as he's preparing to swallow you.»

Not all Snakes stories end the same, but all end with a bite of a surprise.
