I sliced my hand between my thumb and forefinger with dirty, rusty rock bar, very deep, a few years ago. Most would have gone to hospital to get it cleaned out, numbed up, stiched with prescriptions for Antibiotics. Very costly bills. I cleaned with running water and wrapped it till I got home then cleaned with sterile saline, H2O2 and alternated wet/dry dressings with saline and H2O2. Healed inside out very quickly. No infection. Very clean. Closed up completely within a week. Barely a scar at all and no medical bills.
