The Kazars were trapped between Jewish and Muim armies.
The Kazar king said for everyone in his kingdom to convert to Juadism - so they would gain that armies protection.... what if instead, he and his kingdom became muslim - and practiced taqqiya ever since.
That way his kingdom would be protected by both... all the muslim army had to do was put on a show fight, then leave.
Slavery and pedophillia are not Jewish traits in the 21st century - they are however, muslim 7th century ones- still being practiced today.
