Every good Law Enforcement Officer dies a little inside each time one of their brothers or sisters is taken from them. That's why when you hear a final call of a retiring officer, there are more times than not tears. When they choose to retire, they have given all they can give. It's not by any means the most lucrative or glamorous job, but to the men and women in blue, it's their calling.
