If gas powered cars have alternators to charge the battery, why don’t EV’s? Yeah, I know that gas car batteries are smaller and they don’t power as much as an EV. But when a gas car battery gets drained with a dead alternator, it has the same effect as an EV battery dying. The car stops. As long as the battery isn’t dead, you can jump it and drive the car, but anything that draws current will drain it again. Where’s the technology? Why are they not harvesting the power generated by motion? Which is how an alternator does it. These people are stupid.
