The overarching point is that like the KKK cells, like the Church cells, this is about 'comms aware' cells coordinated over large areas to take over sections of government. They can’t give marching orders bluntly so they use symbolism comms, and sports gives a framework to send messaging in all sorts of ways.
If billionaires want to remove a head of state, they can’t say it bluntly, so they fund a team to send messages to those who know how to hear it.
