I have been watching the US capital on earthtv. Shortly after dark the flags were lowered to half-staff. Then around 9pm a swarm of police came to the front of the capital. Could not see what was happening. The Senate adjourned at 9pm. It is possible that the police were there as security /escort service. I am hoping for some arrests.
