STOP saying Australians dont have guns .

Australians now own MORE guns than we did before the 1996 Port Arthur massacre

Our population is 26 million & The number of firearms reported in Australia in 2017 was 3.6 million guns.

The state i live in (NSW) there is 8 million people & we have 1.4 million guns. We have only 20000 police , we have more guns then the Australian Army too .,so, we are far from being unarmed & defenceless

So do us Australians a favour, before you all post that Australians dont have guns and they shouldnt have handed over their guns, you should do a little bit of research before posting about something you know nothing about.

Thanks

Same thing applies to Canada, large hunting populations, Moore's doc said we had more guns per pop than the US.
Handguns are a different story here, completely illegal to carry anywhere other than to and from a range and requires extra 30 day hold to buy.
Handgun crime in Toronto is outrageous but none used are legally owned.
