No, unless I fall asleep at the wheel. Then my FO wakes me up whan ATC starts yelling.

they’re not frequent but every once in a while there’s commercial flight flying low and perpendicular to the approach every other plane takes… strange

If its PHL, a lot of times when they are in an east-west operation, they send some to the shorter north runway to increase the arrival rate and minimize holding en-route.

Maybe they just want to fly over your house every now and then to see what kind of shenanigans you're up to?
