LEADING BABY FOOD MANUFACTURERS KNOWINGLY POISON BABIES | CONGRESSIONAL REPORT
Following reports alleging high levels of toxic heavy metals in baby foods, a Congressional Subcommittee requested test results from 7 of the largest producers of baby food in the U.S.:
▪︎Nurture, Inc., (Happy Family Organics & HappyBABY)
▪︎Beech-Nut Nutrition Co.
▪︎Hain Celestial Grp, Inc., (Earth’s Best Organic)
▪︎Gerber
▪︎Campbell Soup Co., (Plum Organics)
▪︎Walmart, (Parent’s Choice)
▪︎Sprout Foods, Inc.

Only 4 complied (Nurture, Beech-Nut, Hain, and Gerber). Walmart, Campbell, and Sprout Organic Foods REFUSED. They discovered baby food products contained up to:
▪︎91 x the inorganic ARSENIC level,
▪︎177 x the LEAD level,
▪︎69 x the CADMIUM level,
▪︎5 x the MERCURY level
...that the FDA allows in bottled water. Yet the companies still sold them.

Exposure to these metals causes permanent decreases in IQ and endangers infant neurological development and long-term brain function. [
