the problem is people use the 'explore' feature to find new people. shows even if you don't follow them. 'Home' just shows people you follow.

AnonUp.com is being designed to be a big Fook You to Twitter specifically.
WeGo.social when finished is going to be a big Fook You to the social media industry. Being able to take your 'Profile' to ANY domain that will live on a Blockchain. No one will be able to 'OWN' your profile including me. So much info has been lost with Twitter suspending all the accounts. Tragic!
