Think of all the Doctors who were told it wouldn't work and believed the CDC/FDA. Once this information goes mainstream many Doctors who treated patients and denied them HCQ will be devastated and may even be sued by patients for malpractice. The repercussions of this will make Doctors question everything they've been taught/advised and will likely lead to the collapse a large sector of the current Health Care system.

I don't believe the average person will accept "I didn't know" as an excuse from a doctor, whatever the reality.

I don't believe so either. Medicine will change drastically because of this.
