When he votes the chiped photo ID is incerted into a machine similar to a Diebold atm. The chip contains facial recognition and finger print data. The machine has a camera and a touch screen to scan the finger print of the voter which must match the data on the chip to open the ballot.
After the voter votes, a printed bar code receipt is issued and the voter can scan the receipt to verify the accuracy of the recorded vote, and push the confirmation button and cast the vote. The voter retains hard copy of his/her vote and the system locks that voter number up from any additional voting.
