โœ๏ธ On Good Friday: A Statue of Jesus Christ Is Unveiled in Rome Based on the Historic Shroud of Turin - And He Is Magnificent

Today is Good Friday, When Jesus Christ died on the cross in Jerusalem. A statue was unveiled in 2018 by the Museum of Popes of Jesus Christ based on the markings on the historic Shroud of Turin. The Shroud of Turin is a linen cloth bearing the image of a man who appears to have suffered physical trauma in a manner consistent with crucifixion. It is kept in the royal chapel of the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Turin, northern Italy and goes on display every 10 years. It is believed to be the burial cloth of Jesus Christ.

As the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin has been debated throughout the years, I thought I would quickly look for some articles.

I'm sharing 2 articles...

The 1st gives the "alleged" history of it. Notably, it was initially deemed to be inauthentic by Pope Clement VII in 1389. Interestingly, the link for "scientific studies" results in an error message.๐Ÿค”

The 2nd article is interesting as it discusses an image from NASA's jet propulsion lab. It's curious how NASA became involved in it. Knowing what I know now about that "entity," it's even more difficult to discern fact/fiction, truth/lies.๐Ÿ™„

I dont know....๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I have always believed it was authentic in my heart
