According to Brain Researcher Paul McClean the Human Brain is a Three-in-One Structure--A Reptillian Fight, Flight or Freeze Survival Oriented Brain Motivated Primarily by FEAR and Limited in it's Perception to the Five Senses; a Limbic/Emotional Brain that Enables to FEEL and Experience our Interconnectedness; a Rational (Neo-Cortex) Brain that is the home of our Rational Ego; Each level of the Brain is Holographically Enfolded in the Level Above it in a "Nested Hierarchy," Reminiscent of Russian Nesting Dolls.
If all three levels of the brain were allowed to unfold organically then we would eventually activate the Pre-Frontal Cortex which is a Specialized Section of the Neo-Cortex- When we activate this relatively new part of the brain, the entire brain is integrated- through the "Tree of Life" Vagus Nerve that Connects to the Heart.
Heart Math Institute has demonstrated that the Heart has Neurons similar to the Brain....

I have Correlated Our Perception of Time based on this Triune Brain Model of the Holographic Head and Heart. The Reptillian Brain is completely subjective and only perceives what is available to the Five Sensory Material World. This is essentially an experience of "no-time" because in order to experience anything beyond the subjective five sensory perception you need to access the Feeling and Rational Levels of the other Two Brains; The Limbic Emotional Brain experiences Time as a Two-Dimensional Circular Fashion; the Neo-Cortex/Rational Brain Experiences Time as Linear; When you Integrate/Reintegrate the Three Levels of the Brain with the Heart, you Experience Spherical or Radial Time.
The Model that you just Presented is a Model of Radial/Spherical Time.

All Spiritual Traditions and forms of Yoga, Meditation and Prayer are Catalysts through which we can consciously learn to surrender the Rational Ego to the Heart and Learn to Perceive the World from the Inside Out Rather that the Outside In. This is the Hieros Gamos or Sacred Marriage of Head and Heart; Rational/LImbic Brain; Solar-Masculine/Lunar Feminine etc. Krishna, Buddha and Christ are Living Examples of How to Integrate our experiences of 'no-time'/Cyclical Time/Linear Time into a Heart Centered Experience of Spherical/Radial Time. The Experience of Radial Time is the Source of the Radiant Heart Centered LIght that is Experienced when one achieves this 'Sacred Marriage' within Oneself.!
