In 1967 my brother died. He was a Marine in Chu Lai Vietnam. He was 20 years old. I was so devastated, I used to go out to the cemetery in the middle of the night and lay on his grave. That was the only way I could stay close to him. It was a life changing event for me. I drifted into a deep depression for several years before God pulled me out and into His loving arms. The wars that have been thrust upon us have robbed us of so many brave and good young people. Those who died left a huge void in the families. Now some 55 years later, I still miss him. His short life touched so many and those who knew him will never forget him.
