Parasites are a real thing and getting rid of the parasites is kind of the name of the game right now. Ivermectin is good against larval stages and can make you feel better but it doesn't take care of the adult stages so you have to keep taking it for years (every 3 to 6 months) to eradicate the fckers.
If you want a human deworming treatment you should take a fairly safe drug called Vermox (Mebendazole). Really hard to find in the states for some reason... but you can still order it online from India etc.
