If you took a military oath and posted it or have video proof claim special person status. This will entitle you to better treatment. You will basically be a POW and can not be tried for any crimes without a tribunal. Also the burden of proof is way higher.
Pray they follow the rules.
If you identify military you can not claim to be civilian and visa versa.
