Canada: While Trudeau claims Freedom Convoy “not the story of pandemic” - Liberal MP 'Pours Fuel' on Division
After returning to parliament after Covid isolation, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau once again called on the truckers to end their blockade of downtown Ottawa, claiming their struggle does not represent most Canadians.
His own Liberal party, however, is apparently split. Quebec Liberal Joel Lightbound insisted "It is time we stopped dividing people, to stop pitting one part of the population against each other".
Protesters could be seen almost mocking the govt, after Ottawa declared it would clampdown on anyone giving 'material support' to the protesters.
Cue people marching with red fuel cans...
