“Ukraine not US priority” - Frmr Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl tells RT
The former Austrian FM told RT "I don't think Ukraine is the only and main topic for the US", while adding that the question of Ukraine joining NATO has been raised since 2008, but no one is enthusiastic.
"We all know what they really care about: the situation in the South China Sea, Taiwan, China, technological advantage. That's what's really important for the United States."
Kneissl also recalled what American diplomat George Kennan said about 25 years ago about the fourth wave of the bloc's expansion:
"He then said quite unequivocally that this was a big mistake, there was no need to do this. This statement of Kennan should be given attention, it is necessary to focus on it.”`
