Art of War - in my opinion....don't let your enemy know your next moves. Remember, just as we all are reading all this posts, so do the enemy. Sometimes you use your best soldiers to "play" on the dark side to gain their trust. This is all a movie. His just playing his part to win this evil. Just my opinion. I can be wrong on this one.

To me it quite clearly states that Flynn has allegiance to the Y family, through the Irish Catholics . To me that could possibly put him in league with the Jesuits.
I know the one Aussie chap names him as organisjng the logistics of his trafficking however I was prepared to give him the benifit of the doubt as a 6 year old may be mistaken or may have purposefully been given the wrong name .
I also found it interestjng that Rittenhouse of the Hiidden Hand went after Linn Wood before anyone else.
But I am merely a witness to events as they unfold and I would be sad but not surprised to find others falling by the wayside.

That is not to say that Gen Flynn hasnt been given a role by the WH to play during this time so I certainly think it is worth watching him .
