Budget friendliest: chili, spaghetti, soups like beef veggie, chicken bog, beans sausage and rice, chili macaroni skillet. Fun different one - Italian wedding shells stuffed (big stuffed pasta shells with ground beef/onions/cheese). Make sure to keep plenty of "emergency" (quick fix) foods like instant mashed potatoes, canned green beans, granola bars (homemade best), ham slices, eggs, Can always get a bluicer for juicing and blending fruits and veggies! Fruits on hand are always good. Bags of potatoes and cabbages and canned tomatoes helpful to keep on hand. Chicken and beef stocks without MSG or yeast extract if we can find them then. Lol, well it's a start! :)
