Many people remember people going into the torch, but the torch was damaged from the FIRST ATTACK ON AMERICAN SOIL, WHICH WAS NOT PEARL HARBOR, IT WAS THE BLACK TOM EVENT, July 30, 1916. I remember they gave her a facelift back in 1984. Do you remember seeing people in the torch? Also, many people remember the torch being in her left hand. This would be a Mandela Effect.
