Jesus Christ is called the "Lion" of the Israeli Tribe of Judah, one of the 12 Tribes of Israel. He is a descendant of that tribe and so is King David. King David was born approximately 1000 years before Jesus. So, Jesus is in the lineage of King David. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World. He is God in the flesh! He died on the cross for all of our sins. He "triumphed" over eternal death when He died on the cross. When we trust in Him as our Savior we become heaven-bound for all eternity and we will live with Him forever. We will never be separated from Him. We will never experience eternal damnation. That's why He died for us. All Glory be to our Triune God: 1) Heavenly Father 2) Jesus, the Son of God, and 3) the Holy Spirit! ♥️
