Tragic, really.

This is a symptom of a known mass disorder, used by totalitarian governments against populations. There's a really excellent interview about it. These people become selfless, and truly believe they are supporting the common good, but they are hyper-focused on one tiny piece of events, and they resist and fight any dissent against the narrative.

We will be here to help them, who apparently represent typically 30% of a population, but right now we need to keep giving courage to the 40% or so who are usually silent, even when not buying into the delusion.

The video in this story is very well worth watching if you want to understand this apparent disconnect from reality, and help to counter the totalitarian narrative.
