Over 700,000 Americans are living with a brain tumor today (2). More than 84,000 people will be diagnosed with a primary brain tumor in 2021. There are more than 120 different types of primary brain and CNS tumors. Nearly one-third (29.7 percent) of brain and central nervous system (CNS) tumors are malignant.

More than 6 million Americans of all ages have Alzheimer's. An estimated 6.2 million Americans age 65 and older are living with Alzheimer's dementia in 2021. Seventy-two percent are age 75 or older. One in nine people age 65 and older (11.3%) has Alzheimer's dementia.
