Remember the days when people had common sense to stay home when sick, stay hydrated, rest, wash hands and treat symptoms early with over the counter meds. Now people rush to the doctor demanding antibiotics and quick fixes. I know I am an RN who worked for 50 years ( just retired) and lived the changes in our health care. I remember the days when the cause of illness was the focus of treatment. Fixing dehydration, acidosis, poor diets, lack of exercise etc.
