I'd be completely unable to "plug back in," but I certainly understand wanting to walk away. I didn't think I could dislike people more than I did ten years ago, but here we are where even most good people are arguing that we should basically ignore the very real and imminent threats and all the serious crimes against humanity and that we should only ever wallow in ignorance with whatever our TV's spoon feed us.

I knew most were willfully stupid, but to stay so in the face of such obvious corruption and evil is absolutely baffling to me.
