naturally occurring DNA segment is a product of nature and not patent eligible merely because it has been isolated, but that cDNA is patent eligible because it is not naturally occurring.

Most of this is over my head. Is the bottom line that they are trying to alter a human's DNA so that they can patent the human hybrid basically as a new "creation". I don't know if I have that right or not???

That is what I am assuming for on thing, also maybe think patents on clones.
