I've been married to a LAPD officer for 34 years - this is garbage. A police officer has every ability to do a welfare check, to go into the hospital to escort someone on a welfare check, and to have the hospital WAKE UP the administrator to make a decision here.
The reporter needs to request a supervisor - this officer is very sweet, but he is dumb. Get a supervisor out there, get the chief out there.
They will allow Veronica to die before they allow her out to get ivermectin and show the world ivermectin works. THATS what this is about.
I'm a nurse - ER/NICU/PICU/Peds, I know what they are doing...thousands of nurses do. We know how vital it is to get her out NOW before they kill her.

Legalities and force. The hospital has hospital security - family cannot remove a patient or they are literally handcuffed and police are called. Patients cannot walk out on their own, they will be tied to the bed and sedated. Family are not allowed to see the patient - the patients are hostages. Our police do nothing - because the hospital says it is not a police matter. These have to go to court, by then the patient is dead.
People do not want to go to hospitals anymore, this happens frequently. People will suffer at home instead of go through what Veronica did... Parents are afraid to take children to the hospital, because we've had many cases like this happen.
I hope Lin Wood fights this - it needs to stop. She wanted to leave, her husband wanted her to leave, they wanted a second opinion - the hospital refused to let her go on hospice care or to another hospital. Ultimately - they did not want her to get ivermectin or HCQ and prove it works. The whole world would know...
