It's not time travel. It's predictive programming.
My older brother lived in Hollywood in the 80's. One of his housemates was in the house band of the Tracy Ullman Show. The show had what they call "bumpouts": these are little figures, mostly cartoon, that run around the edge of the screen, usually before and after commercials. The bumpouts on her show were the Simpsons, before they actually became The Simpsons.
They were "discovered" by James L Brooks, who offered their creator, Matt Groening, a sweet deal to create an entire series around them. The catch was Groening had to become a 33rd° Mason and sell his soul for fame, which he gladly did. Groening had to produce a show of predictive programming, because that is what is required: the satanists must SHOW you what they are going to do, thereby gaining your consent...
