When I see something with weird computer speak I always doubt the authenticity.

Any IT soul knows that Alpha would be less than Beta.

When something is in Alpha stage of programming means its got the basic framework but is still not ready for serious public testing. (ex 0.3 Alpha)

When something is in Beta means it is good enough to start testing but far from finished. (ex 0.6 Beta)

Then Final is what you call your first release. (ex 1.0)

So someone who says there are Alpha and Beta versions doesn't have a clue what they are talking about. If you have a Beta you no longer need your Alpha.

Just sayin...
