Governmental pressure and manipulation to get the masses adherence to CDC recommendations is, IMO, the fastest way to set precedent, for full control. This sidesteps the legislative process entirely.

Exactly true. The CDC has no authority to enfirce anything. They make recommendations only. They used to years ago make heloful health recommendations. Today IMO they too are just another corrupt agency having been taken over by evil. I was a nurse for 50 years. I witnessed the the slow change over time.
