The insurgents acquired an unknown number of pieces of equipment called "Handheld Identity Detection Equipment (HIIDE)" during the offensive last week. The concept was confirmed by an unnamed source from the Joint Special Operations Command and three other former army officials. According to the server, each of them is "worried that the Taliban could misuse the sensitive data contained in these devices." The devices contain biometric data such as iris or fingerprint scans, which are combined with biographical information and put together into a large central database. At the moment, however, according to Intercep, it is not clear how much of the US database the Taliban can gain by accessing HIIDE.

But i dont think so. Afghani will have no use from it, because they are not qualified to be able to hack it. So obviously it is GIFT FOR RUSSIA OR CHINA.
