I know last year there was something said about updates that would put tracking on the iphones (you can check this in settings) and also that would turn Presidential Emergency Alerts off . I am not sure about this info.

There are already tracking devices on our phones. Those evil CHICOMMS can access anything they want, whenever they want. This is nothing new. EBS is the start of something much, much bigger.
