DJT has now decided against the idea of starting a third party. Instead he appears to be focusing on Never-Trump Republicans - - do some weeding! My instincts tell me that he plans to make their lives bleak by opposing their reelections. In light of what happened to the Tea Party, he could be wanting to fight the right battle in order to win the war. Chess move?!?

You may be right, if he did put this party together it is the end for Republicans. Just the threat alone though.....

It's all timing with Trump (Chess) ... making the right moves at the right time. The threat factor "might be" the reason he brought it up in the first place! He's always thinking a myriad steps ahead.
