Do you know who votes for the president and vice president of the United States of America?

I'll give you a hint. They are in each state, and there are only 538 of them.

The Electoral College. Their votes are the only votes that matter. We need to find out who they are each election year and start putting pressure on these folks, in a nice way and not in an election interference kind of way.

Aren't they suppose to go by what the people of their state want. This surely can't be just what they want.

Well, they usually do go by the popular vote, and many states require them to do so, but there have been many times throughout history that they did not go by the popular vote. Even though they could possibly face jail time, they can still vote how ever they want.

Well then that part of the system is crooked too. Somehow we need to change the laws to make it fair to the American people. I hear with Block chain, there is no way to cheat, if that's so, Maybe that's the way to go, and let our individual votes count. call it what you want. Popular or whatever, I'm not to hip on the Liberal Colleges here in MN. I want my vote to count and I'm sure you do too.

Unless you are an elector, then our votes do not count. We still need the electoral college, otherwise NY and CA will determine every election, because they have more electors than most states due to their population size. These electors need to be afraid of We the People.
