i have an ancestor who was the pirates blacksmith in New Orleans.. He also made slave shakels for the city & their slave market place... whilst secretly supplying the Pirate , to help fight & win against the British.. i have a great story about General Pakenham’s body & where it ended up😹😹😎

its long & involves a traveling keg of rum( no undertakers in New Orleans would embalm the body as they needed to send it back to b interned in English soil...it ended up in a keg of rum marked for NY, that they re marked for England.. it made it but not teveived as it was on the roster 4 NY & was teturned to a rum pub there...( think floaters in yer mohita🤫🤫🤫😂😹😂😹)
