Israeli biotech company Future Meat Technologies has developed the world’s first cell-based meat production facility, where 'real' meat can be produced with 80% less greenhouse gas emissions.
“This production facility is the real game-changer,” the company’s founder said. “Our goal is to make cultured meat affordable for everyone, while ensuring we produce delicious food that is both healthy and sustainable."
The potentially revolutionary process produces meat 20-times faster and using 99% less land and 96% less water than traditional agriculture, by using real cells harvested from live animals.
