🚨Nasa Scientist Sentenced To Prison For Lying About His Ties To The Chinese Government🚨
🔹Meyya Meyyappan, 66, a senior NASA scientist, was sentenced today to 30 days in prison for making false statements & he is ordered to pay a fine of $100,000.
🔹October 27, 2020, Meyyappan was interviewed by the FBI, NASA OIG, & the U.S. Attorney for the SDNY. During that session, Meyyappan falsely stated, among other things, that he was not a member of the Thousand Talents Program & that he did not hold a professorship at a Chinese university.
🔹In truth, Meyyappan was a member of the Thousand Talents Program & held a professorship at a Chinese university, funded by the Chinese government.
🔹Meyyappan pled guilty on January 12, 2021.**

Yep and thr sentence shoukd be for live in prison
