CRT is definitely toxic. Not just because it teaches hate for our country and ancestors, but because it promotes the theory that some are permanently oppressed, which leads to despair and anger. In effect, it harms the very minorities it presumes to be protecting, while it tries to weaponize them against us.

When I was a child, we were encouraged to learn and to know that if we worked hard enough, and tried again if we failed, that we could do anything. I assume the children's book "The Little Engine that Could" is still around? It was about perservering towards your goal. Very much the same theme as Trump's Never Give Up speech.
