There are some hospitals/clinics that have added a field to your medical record that states if you have received the vax doses, so that's probably why his doctor had access to the info. I don't know where he got vaccinated or what info he gave out or releases he signed.

I mean, how would an employer know your private medical records? There are HIPPA laws. This must not be in the USA. Also, you do not have to show ID or proof of insurance or citizenship to receive the vax.
