Your phone is tracking you. It does not matter what apps are on it or what you do with it. If it has a charge it is tracking. The only way to avoid this is like I have said before, you must have a phone with a removable battery. If there is no power than it can not be tracked. If you do not have one I would suggest you get one.
Yes everything that connects you to the net is also tracking you. Most people are of no interest but by using your social media I can track down everyone who you care for. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
Protect yourself and only share what you absolutely need to.
For the patriots out there who making plans to do the unthinkable you need to stop. You ARE being watched.

Hate to say it - but the only way to bot be tracked is to Faraday your Smartphone and leave it at home.
Get an old school flip phone - no smartphone.
And don’t save GPS data in your car.
And break up with Alexa, your SmartTV, and wave hello to the hackers as you set your Wireless security system.
[They] hack your WiFi to monitor you in the privacy of your own home.

There are Apps (for a small fee) which can spider the connection and pinpoint the connections, including the URL/IP streaming your activity.

Unfortunately speaking from experience.
It’s not fun to learn your most intimate moments were live-streamed over several platforms for approx 9 months, and you stumble upon a chat on YouTube discussing the unique soup you made the day prior.
Oh: Also put a piece of Electrical Tape over your Smartphone Camera, front and back. And know that anything saved to your phone is basically “public”.
