I'm probably in the minority here, but is this really the most pressing thing for them to be doing right now?
If it is bipartisan then there is no need for the Amendment, their numbers alone will ensure that it will remain at 9 Supreme Court Justices.
I feel like this is just another attempt from Congress to try and impress on us that they are doing something, when in fact they think we are stupid.
