Well, that was fun. Hit a deer on I-80 doing 70mph - $7,300 damages covered by insurance. No, I did not scoop up the deer for meat - a semitrailer truck behind me squished/tenderized him.

Yes, I lightly slowed not locking up to prevent front end dipping too low and deer going up over hood through windshield and barely turned wheel left to prevent rollover, hoping to just graze him with front right of vehicle. Nope. He turned to go back and luckily dipped his head upon impact. He knew.
