If they don't know about them.. they can't confiscate them. All of the unconstitutional laws (registration, tracking etc.) Was always to track law abiding citizens and never about keeping criminals from getting them. The best defence we used to have is the simple fact you don't know who is armed and who isn't. Criminals don't go where there will be protection in place they go where they have sitting ducks. I choose to swim in a different pond than that, and I totally agree with your statement.
