A father loses his daughter to the State:
The courts went against a father's wish and forced him to allow his 14 year old (Daughter) to switch from being female to a male. Canadian father Robert Hoogland of Surrey, British Columbia, fought against the courts and was arrested a number of times for telling his story and refusing to call his girl a boy. The BC Supreme Court put his daughter on testosterone on the sole basis of her own consent. As a parent, I would not have allowed this to happen - court ruling or not.
